Two hours out of the office
Bring your team, your department, or your best clients out to Fennville for an afternoon that isn’t a conference room. Two packages, both two hours, both including wine and a charcuterie spread for the group — and both priced per person, so you can put a number in front of your finance team before you ask us a single question.
Groups over 16 go with Option B. A guided tour stops working past sixteen people — the ones at the back can’t hear, and it turns into a walk rather than a conversation. Both options are built around a 10-guest minimum.
The two packages
Tour & Team Happy Hour
Something to do together, then time to talk about it.
Start with a guided walk through the vineyard or the cellar, then settle into the Green Barn for the rest of the afternoon. The tour does the icebreaking for you, which matters if half the room has only ever met on a video call.

Team Happy Hour
The whole two hours at the table.
No agenda and no walking. The Green Barn when the weather cooperates, a reserved space by the flight bar when it doesn’t. This is the one for the group whose entire point is the conversation.

Both prices are per person and exclusive of tax and gratuity, with a 10-guest minimum. All dates are subject to availability.

What the afternoon actually looks like
Tour & Team Happy Hour
Something to do together, then time to talk about it.
Your group is met at the tasting room and handed off to one of our senior hospitality staff, who takes you out into the vineyard or down into the cellar — which one depends on the season and what’s happening that week. Either way you end up in a working part of the winery that guests don’t normally see, with someone who can answer the follow-up question and the follow-up to that.
After 30 to 45 minutes you land in the Green Barn, where a pre-selected flight is waiting along with charcuterie for the table. A staff member stays with your group to walk everyone through what they’re drinking, then steps back and lets you talk. Guests who’d rather have two full glasses than a flight can have that instead — you tell us which way you want it when you book, and we set the room up the same for everyone.
Why this one caps at sixteen. A guided tour is a conversation, and a conversation has a size limit. Past sixteen people the guests at the back stop hearing the answers and it becomes a walk. We’d rather tell you that now than have half your team spend forty minutes looking at the back of someone’s head. If you’re over sixteen, Option B is the better afternoon, not the consolation prize.
Team Happy Hour
The whole two hours at the table.
Your group has the Green Barn — an open-air space looking out at the vineyard — with the flight poured and the charcuterie out when you arrive. If the weather turns, we move you to a reserved area inside near the tasting and flight bar; the package doesn’t change and neither does the price.
A staff member walks your group through the flight and stays available for the rest of the two hours without hovering. As with Option A, you can trade the flight for two glasses per guest, chosen at booking.
This is the better pick more often than people expect. It isn’t only the large-group option. If you’re entertaining clients, thanking a team that already works well together, or wrapping a long day of meetings, unstructured time at a table is the whole product — and adding a tour takes forty minutes away from the thing you came for. Plenty of groups of twelve choose this one on purpose.
Good to know before you ask
Most of what a planner needs to answer internally, up front, so you aren’t waiting on an email to build your budget.
- Group size. Both start at 10. Option A tops out at 16 because of the tour; Option B holds up to 40. Bigger than that, ask — we’ll point you at the right event.
- Lead time. Two weeks’ notice is comfortable. Less than that, ask anyway; it depends on the week.
- When. Year round, subject to availability. Summer weekends and harvest dates go first, so the earlier you ask, the more likely you are to get the date you wanted.
- The price. Per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity. One invoice for the group — nobody at your table is splitting a check.
- Booking and payment. A minimum group charge covering your first 10 guests is due when you book, and that’s what holds the date — $400 for Option A, $300 for Option B. The balance is settled the day of.
- On the day. Guests beyond the first 10, extra wine, and bottles to take home all go on one tab, settled when you leave.
- Changed plans. Cancel at least 48 hours before your date for a full refund.
- Guests who aren’t drinking. Not charged, once your group has met the 10-guest minimum. No need to flag anyone at the table.
- Dietary needs. Tell us when you book and the charcuterie is built around them.
- Getting here. Roughly 25 minutes from Holland, 45 from Grand Rapids. Free parking, including room for a van or coach.
- Getting around. The tour crosses uneven ground and a gravel lane. If that’s a problem for anyone in your party, tell us and we’ll route the tour differently or move you to Option B.
- Taking wine home. Guests can buy bottles at the end, and we can set up a group discount or a bottle per guest as a send-off. Ask and we’ll quote it.
