We aim to strike a balance between education and entertainment. . What we call the “Lake Effect” is the moderating effect that Lake Michigan has on the climate of West Michigan, and it is what makes grape growing possible. There is a narrow band right along the shore where cold tender grape varieties can be successfully grown. Most people who live around here know the Lake Effect as heavy winter snowfall. Sip and Shop
The forth annual Sip and Shop Artisan and Craft Market is a great way to discover unique and handmade gifts. Guests are encouraged to sip on a glass of wine or cider while perusing the local wares.
Chili Cook-Off
The categories will be the same as in past years: Four Legs (beef and pork), Two Legs (Fowl), Vegetarian (non-meat), and Exotic (Seafood or wild game, including venison).
